Mainstream Media Baffled by Biden’s Disapproval Rating

The White House staff constantly fights to keep Biden from embarrassing himself...

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) The mainstream media announced their collective astonishment at President Joe Biden’s ever-declining ratings after the release of recent polling data.

Biden’s approval rating currently sits at 55% after 915 days in office. Former President Jimmy Carter’s rating sat at 57.6% at the same time in his term; former President Donald Trump had a disapproval rating of 52.6%.

Several articles concerning the president’s disapproval rating expressed mystification at the abysmal numbers, but continued to lie about the present state of the nation—insisting that inflation is “coming down,” jobs were readily available and the mass of government spending was a net positive for the nation.

According to Issues & Insights, 66% of Americans thought Biden winning a second term would be a disaster for the country, whereas only 56% said a Trump win would have been bad news.

For comparison, George H.W. Bush had a disapproval rating of 36% heading in to the final year of his term, going on to lose to Bill Clinton. Lyndon Johnson had an approval rating of 33% and opted not to run for reelection.

The media continued to be amazed at Biden’s lack of likability, despite their best efforts to make him seem like a viable, lucid candidate for 2024.

A recent article from Axios discussed Biden’s so-called “Irish temper,” in a possible attempt to portray him as a spunky statesman dedicated to his work.

Despite the publication’s best efforts to make him seem like a tough-as-nails, no-nonsense leader, this backfired as many pointed out that sudden bouts of anger are a common symptom of dementia.

The White House staff constantly fights to keep Biden from embarrassing himself—no simple task, considering his consistent gaffes.

The president himself insinuated that the staff discourages him from taking questions and candidly speaking to the press. A handler dressed as a giant rabbit even went as far as steering Biden away from the press at last year’s White House annual Easter Egg Roll.

The personnel—both members of the communications team—interrupted Biden’s comments on Afghanistan.
