As people across the country prepare for Thanksgiving and the coming holiday season, the sting of inflation is being felt like a bad booster shot in the rear-end.
More than three-quarters of Americans, a whopping 77 percent, said inflation is affecting their lives as the holiday season begins, according to a new Yahoo News/YouGov poll. That’s not surprising, given the rising costs and falling availability of consumer goods, coupled with soaring energy costs.
Somewhat surprising is that a clear majority (57 percent) blamed President Joe Biden and his administration’s failed policies for the hit their wallets are taking. And only 18 percent said Biden is doing enough to address it.
Add those inflationary and supply chain issues to increasing crime rates, dictatorial vaccine mandates that are costing jobs in favor of jabs, and a porous southern border contributing to an explosive illegal drug and smuggling crisis – all in response to Biden administration policies – and it’s no wonder Biden’s approval rating continues to crumble.
Those numbers have declined to a lowly “43 percent in recent months while his disapproval rating has risen to 52 percent — and why, on the economy, Biden’s approval rating is even lower (40 percent),” Yahoo News reported.
The numbers remain equally bad the deeper the poll digs: a majority of Americans (51 percent) said they’re worried they “won’t be able to afford what they need during the holidays due to inflation,” while 45 percent said they’re worried they “won’t be able to get what they need” because of shortages.
And the Slidin’ Biden trajectory isn’t exclusive to the Yahoo News poll. A new NPR/Marist poll showed Biden’s approval dropping to 42 percent, the lowest in that particular poll since Biden took office.
The same poll showed a scant 42 percent approval for how Biden is handling the economy, while 52 percent disapproved.
“Regardless of strong job numbers or the soaring stock market, Americans are worried about the economy and the reason is inflation,” said Lee Miringoff, director of the Marist Institute for Public Opinion.
Those cratering numbers aren’t likely to change moving forward, even if Biden’s socialist spending spree wins ultimate approval.
“Passing a bill in Congress won’t change a thing,” said pollster Scott Rasmussen.
If the Build Back Better bill passes in the Senate, will it impact Biden’s approval ratings?

Not that any of it matters to radical leftists in the media who continue to scoff at the economic woes facing millions of Americans, while pushing Biden’s failed policies as a solution.
“The dirty little secret here, Willie, while nobody likes to pay more, on average, we have the money to do so,” MSNBC’s Stephanie Ruhle explained to NBC anchor Willie Geist.

So don’t fret the skyrocketing prices; the bejeweled leftist elites have spoken and all is well.
