Kyle Rittenhouse Invites Biden to One-on-One Meeting

'If he reached out, I'd be happy to tell him my side of the story of what happened... '

Kyle Rittenhouse invited President Joe Biden this week to sit down with him for a one-on-one meeting.

During an interview with The Blaze’s Stephen Crowder, the 18-year-old, who was recently acquitted of all felony charges brought against him for the shooting of two men during the Kenosha, Wisconsin, riots of 2020, said he’d like to dispel any falsehoods regarding his murder trial.

“Mr. President, I hope you see this,” he said. “I’d have a sit-down, and I’ll explain the facts to you so you can understand them. If he reached out, I’d be happy to tell him my side of the story of what happened.”

Biden, during his 2020 presidential campaign, smeared Rittenhouse as a white supremacist by including a picture of him in a campaign advertisement blasting “racism.”

And after the jury found Rittenhouse not guilty, Biden admitted he wasn’t happy with the trial’s outcome.

“While the verdict in Kenosha will leave many Americans feeling angry and concerned, myself included, we must acknowledge that the jury has spoken,” he said last month.

Rittenhouse’s mother slammed Biden for smearing her son, arguing the president “defamed” Rittenhouse.

“President Biden don’t [sic] know my son whatsoever, and he’s not a White supremacist. He’s not a racist. And [Biden] did that for the votes,” she said.

Rittenhouse has also suggested he might try to hold Biden accountable for defamation.

“It’s actual malice, defaming my character for him to say something like that,” he told Fox News’s Tucker Carlson last month.
