Ex-Rep. Kinzinger Autographs Copies of Jan. 6 Report for $100 a Pop

'He should pay us $100 to read it...'

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Former Jan. 6 committee member and ex-congressman Adam Kinzinger is making a nice profit in his post-political career by selling autographed copies of the Jan. 6 report.

According to the Post Millennial, Kinzinger is charging $100 for a bound edition of the report—which can be found for free online. For only $60 more, customers can also purchase a signed hat.

“On January 6, 2021, the United States came perilously close to losing its democracy,” said the report’s description.

“A mob instigated by the president of the United States violently attacked the Capitol Building in Washington, DC, seeking to disrupt the certification of the electors in the presidential election and prevent the peaceful transfer of power for the first time in American history,” it continued.

The partisan report painted former President Donald Trump as a malicious, power-hungry fiend and vastly outweighing the importance of the committee’s work.

“The attack was the culmination of a plot organized and driven by a defeated president, attempting to remain in power through a complex web of deceit, intimidation, and violence,” the description said.

“This is the official report of the investigation into the attack-perhaps the most vital congressional investigation in American history-with exhibits, and witness testimony,” it said.

Kinzinger recently announced that he was cashing in on his notoriety as a fake Republican by securing a spot as a political correspondent at left-leaning CNN.

This move did not surprise many people, especially after his farewell speech where he berated Republican voters as “racist” and “ignorant” and depicting himself as a tragic hero.

However, some speculated that his latest scheme revealed the need for a supplemental income.

Others objected the idea of even paying for such a boring and lengthy document.

Kinzinger, a former Illinois congressman, previously mocked Donald Trump Jr. for encouraging people to purchase “We the People” bibles.

“Oh the irony. The fact that some Christians dont see the problem here is more affirmation that it’s not the GOP that has failed Christians, it’s the church,” Kinzinger tweeted. “Good Pastors and Priests rise up and call this out.”
