Kamala Twists a Fat One on Weed Smoking Sanctions

'Kamala Harris comes out against Kamala Harris... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Vice President Kamala Harris was once again set up to fail by the white man in the White House, as the Veep was forced to contradict and criticize herself over prison terms for smoking weed.

After President Joe Biden last week tried to win some midterm votes for Democrats by decreeing federal marijuana pardons, the vice president who spent part of her hapless career as a prosecutor locking up people for smoking weed found herself condemning herself.

“And speaking of the system of justice, we are also changing — y’all might have heard that this week — the federal government’s approach to marijuana,” Harris babbled as her rapt audience cheered.

“Because the bottom line there is nobody should have to go to jail for smoking weed.”

That came as news to pundits and pols who recalled Harris’ long list of punishing black and brown people for smoking marijuana as she hacked away as a California prosecutor.

“REMINDER: Kamala Harris has sent at least 1,560 people to prison for marijuana-related offenses,” tweeted the comms team of Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas.

That sentiment echoed the words of former presidential hopeful Tulsi Gabbard, who destroyed Harris over her weed record during the 2020 Democrat debates.

“I want to bring the conversation back to the broken criminal justice system that is disproportionately negatively affecting black and brown people all across this country today,” Gabbard said at the time, specifically targeting Harris.

“She put over 1500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana.”

“Shameless,” tweeted San Francisco GOP Chairman John Dennis, concerning Kamala’s latest hypocrisy. “As California Attorney General Harris sent people to jail for…smoking weed.”

“Kamala Harris comes out against Kamala Harris,” cracked the Institute for Justice’s Dan King.
