(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Investigative journalist Laura Loomer condemned former Trump attorney Jenna Ellis, accusing her of betraying former President Donald Trump despite raising a substantial $200,000 through a legal defense fund predominantly fueled by MAGA supporters.
Loomer exposed a screenshot on Tuesday from a left-wing political commentator, Ron Filipkowski, who cynically mocked Trump supporters for contributing to Ellis’ fund, insinuating that the money would be used against Trump.

“I have been proven right once again. The left is now bragging online about how the donations sent to Grifter Jenna Ellis’s ‘legal defense fund’ will be used to attack President Trump,” Loomer tweeted on Tuesday.
Filipkowski, the editor-in-chief of Meidas Touch, derisively thanked MAGA supporters for funding Ellis, alleging that she utilized the $200,000 to collaborate with prosecutors led by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis.
“Hey MAGA, Thanks for sending Jenna that $200,000 so she could use it to rat out Trump and his henchmen. Money well spent,” Flilipkowski said on Nov. 13.
The criticism intensified after leaked testimony to ABC News indicated that Ellis informed prosecutors that she was told that Trump was “not going to leave” to leave the White House after the 2020 election loss.

In return for her cooperation, Ellis managed to avoid jail time, facing only a modest $5,000 fine — a meager sum compared to the substantial funds raised on social media.
Loomer, renowned for her vocal pro-Trump stance on Twitter, expressed her reproach in Ellis for allegedly misleading donors. “I TOLD YOU NOT TO DONATE TO THIS DISLOYAL WENCH,” Loomer declared on October 24.

“Today she accepted a plea deal, which will only require her to pay a $5,000 fine and get probation for 5 years. She didn’t even attempt to fight the charges. … $216,000!!!! WHAT A SCAM!!! You should feel ashamed of yourself if you donated to her,” Loomer added.
Ever since parting ways with Trump, Ellis has shifted her allegiance, openly supporting Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, who is running against Trump in the 2024 presidential election, and distancing herself from the MAGA movement.
