J6 Inquisition Admits to Witch Hunting Ginni Thomas

'It is laughable for anyone who knows my husband to think I could influence his jurisprudence... '

(Headline USA) Democrats’ Jan. 6 congressional committee admitted this week that they don’t know whether Ginni Thomas, wife of Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas, played a significant role in former President Donald Trump’s efforts to contest the results of the 2020 election.

The partisan congressional committee subpoenaed Ginni Thomas and forced her to testify for nearly three and a half hours before the panel on Thursday, according to Politico. The subpoena was based on text messages between herself and former White House chief of staff Mark Meadows, in which she urged Meadows to fight against President Joe Biden’s election.

After her testimony, however, members of the Jan. 6 committee have admitted that she doesn’t seem to have been deeply involved in the election efforts.

“She absolutely has a First Amendment right to take whatever positions she wants, and that means she can take as deranged a position she wants about the 2020 election,” Rep. Jamie Raskin, D-Md., said when asked about her deposition. “I don’t expect anything more from her right-wing politics than I do of anybody else who is steeped in that cultish orthodoxy today.”

When pressed for specifics, Rep. Bennie Thompson, D-Miss., said Thomas’s testimony was “typical” of other witnesses who have appeared before the panel.

Ginni Thomas reportedly told the panel that her political opinions are separate from her husband’s work.

“I can guarantee that my husband has never spoken with me about pending cases at the court. It’s an iron-clad rule in our home,” she said.

“It is laughable for anyone who knows my husband to think I could influence his jurisprudence – the man is independent and stubborn, with strong character traits of independence and integrity,” Ginni Thomas added.

Trump praised Ginni Thomas in a post on Truth Social on Friday, thanking her for “having the courage of her convictions.”

“By the way, her husband is Great!” he wrote.
