(Headline USA) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., hysterically claimed on Monday that the Supreme Court is going to overturn gay and civil rights if it moves forward with overturning Roe v. Wade.
A leaked draft opinion from the Supreme Court revealed that a majority of justices want to overturn Roe v. Wade. Chief Justice John Roberts confirmed the draft’s authenticity in a statement on Tuesday, but noted that the court has not yet made a final decision and that votes could change in the coming weeks.
Ocasio-Cortez, however, claimed it’s obvious that “SCOTUS isn’t just coming for abortion – they’re coming for the right to privacy Roe rests on, which includes gay marriage + civil rights.”

She was one of several progressives who used the leak draft as an opportunity to push for the expansion of the Supreme Court and the abolishment of the Senate filibuster.
Some leftists, however, went even further and called on Democrats to “burn” the whole institution to the ground:
