Hilarious Biden Meme Gets Obtuse Reuters Fact-Check

Of course, Reuters would not feel compelled to do such things if it did not seem believable...

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The fact checkers at Reuters were sure to debunk the latest joke meme about President Joe Biden in order to head off any mockery that he might receive, Legal Insurrection reported.

Despite the fact that the meme is an obvious prank, showing President Biden chasing after a blatantly photoshopped ice cream truck as his wife speaks at a podium, Reuters made sure to alert people to the factually inaccurate account portrayed by the meme.

“Social media users are sharing a video of U.S. President Joe Biden walking away momentarily during a speech given by U.S. First Lady Jill Biden and claiming that he was distracted by an ice cream truck,” the mainstream hacks wrote.

“The video being shared, however, has been digitally edited to include music usually played by an ice cream truck.”

The verdict, according to the Reuters “Fact Check” Team?

“Altered. This video has been digitally edited to include ice cream truck music as U.S. President Joe Biden walked away momentarily during first lady Jill Biden’s speech.”

Censoring conservative jokes about the Left is nothing new for the fact-checkers of the world. Of course, Reuters would not feel compelled to do such things if it did not seem believable.

The hacks were grilled relentlessly on Twitter.
