GOP Rep. Destroys Schiff: ‘We’re Well Aware You Don’t Care How Documents Leak’

'I don’t care how the draft leaked... '

(John McCann, Headline USAThe fallout from the Supreme Court’s leaked decision to overturn Roe v. Wade has launched  a firestorm on Capitol Hill.

Republicans, while thrilled with the decision, have lamented the fact that the ruling was illicitly leaked. Democrats have largely ignored the leak and are advocating immediate congressional action.

Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., has joined many of his colleagues in calling for a federal codifying of Roe v. Wade, and has even gone as far as to say that the leak was a “sideshow,” reported MediaRight News.

Schiff shared that he was only concerned about “a small number of conservative justices, who lied about their plans to the Senate, intend to deprive millions of women of reproductive care.”

“I don’t care how the draft leaked,” he tweeted. “That’s a sideshow.”

Schiff gained notoriety throughout Donald Trump’s presidency as one of the key figures involved in the Russian collusion hoax. He was also instrumental in providing “evidence” for Trump’s first impeachment trial. During that investigation, Schiff interfered with efforts to identify the leaker of Trump’s phone call with the Ukrainian president, according to Breitbart.

Rep. Dan Bishop, R-N.C., slammed Schiff by alluding to his past conduct.

“We’re well aware you don’t care how documents leak,” Bishop reproached with a tweet.

Republicans, as well as Chief Justice John Roberts, have vowed to investigate the leak and prosecute whoever was responsible.

Schiff and his fellow Democrats, on the other hand, appear more eager to use the Roe bombshell to gin up support for the coming midterms, painting Republicans as usurpers of women’s rights.

Democrat Eric Swalwell has even claimed that Republicans want to outlaw interracial marriage and would use the Roe ruling to that end, a dubious statement to say the least. Many Democrats are also renewing calls to end the Senate filibuster and packing the Supreme Court.
