(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Former CIA Director Mike Pompeo added a new twist to the classified documents scandal bedeviling the Biden regime, accusing Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., of leaking classified information.
“Adam Schiff lied to the American people, and during my time as CIA director and secretary of state, I know that he leaked classified information that had been provided to him,” Pompeo told Fox News, adding that Shiff’s stint as House Intel chairman “almost ruined that committee.”
Pompeo dropped his bombshell in defense of Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s decision to boot Schiff from the House Intelligence Committee. McCarthy also yanked Rep. Eric Swalwell, D-Calif., from the same committee for many of the same national security concerns that prompted him to pull Schiff.

Pompeo added to those concerns, accusing Schiff of not only leaking classified material, but also repeatedly lying to the American public to advance a political agenda.
“I just didn’t have confidence providing that information. I’d been troubled by Mr. Schiff’s behavior. He told the American people repeatedly, ‘Oh, there’s more to know about the Russia hoax. There’s more to come.’ He knew it wasn’t true,” Pompeo said.
“You shouldn’t be around the Intelligence Committee when you can’t manage both classified information and the truth.”
When pressed on how Schiff has managed to avoid any accountability, if the accusations were true, Pompeo said there were contributing factors.
“It’s a complicated process, right? It’s difficult to pin down precisely what happened,” Pompeo said. “But I could tell you that when we provided information to him and to his staff, it ended up in places it shouldn’t have been with alarming regularity.”
Schiff denied the allegations with a statement from his comms cadre, who called Pompeo’s claims “false and defamatory.” Ironically, Schiff took to the China-owned TikTok to whine about being kicked off the Intel committee.

Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., vowed to introduce legislation “not only to see that Adam Schiff is removed from the Intel Committee but to express the Sense of Congress that he should have no access to classified information at all.”
“I’d rather give @RepSantosNY03 access to classified information than Schiff!” Gaetz tweeted.
