Fear of FBI Trap Crushes Free Speech, Cancels Capitol Protest

'This FBI and DOJ are anything but lawful... '

(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) As the Biden regime continues to use the Justice Department to target patriots and parents as potential domestic terrorists, a former special ops military veteran was forced to cancel a planned peaceful protest for fear of being entrapped by the FBI.

In response to the unprecedented, militarized raid on former President Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago home, Adam Hardage had called “on fellow veterans and Americans of all walks to join him” in a peaceful march planned for Aug. 14 “at the FBI HQ in Washington DC to protest the out of control FBI and its actions against President Trump.”

“What the FBI has done is an inciteful act, which is tantamount to an act of war,’ Hardage told the Gateway Pundit in planning the event. “They are fools to think America will accept this.”

As word of the event began to spread, however, so did warnings from other veterans who had heard concerning indicators that FBI agents were planning to infiltrate the crowd in an attempt to turn it violent, reported the Epoch Times.

Some of those voicing concerns were veterans who had attended the Jan. 6 uprising, which they contend was sabotaged by government agents to spark violence as premise for arresting scores of Trump supporters. They pointed to characters like the infamous Ray Epps who urged protestors to enter the Capitol, along with confirmed reports that an undercover Electronic Surveillance Unit was secretly embedded in the J6 crowds.

The proposed Aug. 14 protest was “most definitely” headed toward another J6 “trap,” said Dave Scarlett, a Marine and pastor His Glory ministries.

“I have many military intel sources who are former generals and they said exactly that. Do not go into Washington D.C., because it’s a trap,” Scarlett warned. “It’s a trap. Stay out of it. Do not go there.”

If anybody wanted to stage a peaceful protest, Scarlett advised them to do it far away from the Capitol.

“If you are truly representing the nation, patriots, Christians and the military in this country, that is not the place to do it,” Scarlett said of D.C.

Hardage said he received widespread support for the planned protest, but the accompanying warnings were enough to give him pause and, after more research, eventually to cancel it.

“My intent was to show solidarity and support for freedom, for the U.S. Constitution and for President Trump,” Hardage said.

“After receiving thousands of online comments and emails from across this nation from veterans on all sides of politics, I have decided to make a change to our plans to peacefully protest the FBI.”

The decision to cancel also came on the heels of increasing evidence that the FBI orchestrated a false flag operation to kidnap Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer. Concurrently, the DOJ redoubled its campaign to equate symbols of patriotism to domestic terrorism.

“I don’t put it past this bureau or department of justice to come after upstanding Americans who are trying to defend the concepts of America and uphold the rule of law,” Hardage said.

“This FBI and DOJ are anything but lawful.”
