Disgraced FBI Agent Peter Strzok Dismisses Damning Durham Report: ‘Never Should Have’ Been Made

(Headline USA) Disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok complained this week that special counsel John Durham’s explosive and damning report “never should have” been made.

Strzok, who was fired from the FBI after his role in the Russiagate hoax became public knowledge, said Durham’s scathing report exhibited a “bias” against the agency and its employees.

“Look, this is a predictable sad ending to an investigation that never should have taken place,” Strzok told MSNBC’s Joy Reid on Monday. “Shortly after [Durham] was announced in 2019, he went on the record as a prosecutor making a rare public statement that he disagreed with IG Horowitz’s conclusion that the investigation was appropriately launched and then he spent the next three to four years with a cognitive bias trying to build a case that somehow it was. We saw the results today, and the results are clearly that he didn’t come up with anything.”

Durham, who had been investigating the origins of Crossfire Hurricane, released his long-awaited report this week. In the 306-page report, Durham concluded that the FBI never had sufficient evidence to launch its investigation into former President Donald Trump’s campaign, but that the pressure to investigate Trump came from top FBI leadership.

Durham also alleged that Hillary Clinton played a significant role in pushing the collusion claims to the FBI and media.

“The speed and manner in which the FBI opened and investigated Crossfire Hurricane during the presidential election season based on raw, unanalyzed, and uncorroborated intelligence also reflected a noticeable departure from how it approached prior matters involving possible attempted foreign election interference plans aimed at the Clinton campaign,” Durham wrote.

Despite Durham’s findings, Strzok insisted this week that the Russian collusion hoax was not the result of “bias” within the FBI.
