Detransitioner Shares Grim History, Backs Fla. Trans Intervention Law

'I was unknowingly physically cutting off my true self from my body, irreversibly and painfully... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) A young girl who de-transitioned after believing she was a transgender boy has started telling her stories about the various treatments she received, and the horrific consequences.

According to the Western Journal, Chole Cole said that the various drugs and surgeries she underwent starting at the age of 13 have destroyed her body and changed her life in devastating ways.

Cole shared that the butchering she received as part of her so-called treatments likely ended her ability to have children. Even if she were able to, she would not be able to breastfeed due to her double mastectomy.

“That realization, actually, was one of the biggest things that led to me realizing that this was not the path that I should have taken,” Cole said of her inability to have children.

Cole also shared that she is a higher risk for certain types of cancer because of the treatment.

“No child should have to experience what I have. My consent was not informed,” she now says.

“I really didn’t understand all of the ramifications of any of the medical decisions that I was making,” Cole said at a public hearing in Florida this month, Fox News reported.

“I was unknowingly physically cutting off my true self from my body, irreversibly and painfully.”

At the event, Cole said one of the reasons she imagined herself as a transgender boy was her increased exposure to radical gender ideology content, saying it was everywhere—even at school.

Cole is now dedicating her energy to helping the state of Florida codify a law blocking Medicaid funds from being used for transitioning procedures.
