Daily Wire Launches New Kids App to Compete w/ Disney

'While Disney still uses Walt’s name, they have all but abandoned his legacy...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) The conservative news platform, the Daily Wire, announced on Tuesday the unveiling of a new kids app, Bentkey, set to challenge the dominance of the renowned entertainment giant, Disney.

With an impressive roster of 150 episodes across 18 children’s shows, Bentkey aims to position itself as a formidable rival to Disney, which has been entangled in controversies for promoting left-leaning agendas among children.

“While Disney still uses Walt’s name, they have all but abandoned his legacy,” Boreing said. “Walt Disney loved America. The company he founded seems to think America is systemically racist, and beyond just their content Disney as a corporation pushes all the worst excesses of the woke Left.”

He added, “It would be impossible to overstate just how big a loss this is for Americans who believe in basic reality. Disney controls the greatest content library ever created.”

The app’s name, Bentkey, derives from the bent key that Boreing has worn around his neck for nearly three decades.

Unlike the DailyWire+’s app, which houses a collection of the platform’s shows, the kids’ app operates independently.

“Bentkey isn’t about teaching kids politics. It’s about childhood and wonder and adventure … [and is] dedicated to creating the next generation of timeless stories that transport kids into a world of imagination and joy, a world of content and characters that families will love and parents can trust.”

With an increasing number of parents expressing concerns about Disney’s leftist narrative, Bentkey is poised to serve as a compelling alternative.

“It’s taken 100 years to build Disney,” Boreing added. “We know we aren’t what Disney is today, but we hope in time we might become what they were, once upon a time: a little studio with big ideas and the courage to chase them.”
