Carlson Applauded for Mopping Floor w/ RINOs Pence, Hutchinson

'RIP to the Pence presidential campaign...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Prominent conservative leaders took to Twitter to celebrate Tucker Carlson’s scathing rebuke of former Vice President Mike Pence and former Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson during the Family Leadership Summit in Iowa.

Carlson pressed both Pence and Hutchinson on their support for contentious issues related to the Ukraine war, election integrity and the far left’s support for the genital castration of children, among other topics.

You are distressed that the Ukrainians don’t have enough American tanks. Every city in the United States has become much worse over the past three years. Drive around. There is not one city that has gotten better in the United States, and it’s visible,” Carlson told Pence during their tense exchange. Pence’s dismissive response, “It’s not my concern,” ignited an inferno of responses.

“This is insane to hear,” said conservative attorney DC Draino in a tweet sharing the now-viral video. Journalist Kyle Becker chimed in, saying, “Dear lamestream media: This is what journalism looks like.” Collin Rugg, the co-owner of Trending Politics, echoed Becker’s remarks, saying, “RIP to the Pence presidential campaign.”

Hutchinson also faced some of Carlson’s fiery questions. Carlson pressed Hutchinson over his efforts to allow puberty blockers on underage children as young as 10-years-old.

“If you have a child who says, he was born a boy and I want to become a girl. He hasn’t gone through puberty yet, he’s say, 10,” Carlson began asking. “Is it treatment to prevent him from going through the natural process of adolescence? How is that treatment, it seems not like treatment, it seems like something else.”

Hutchinson, in a dismissive and defiant tone, responded, “Tucker, I hope we’ll be able to talk about sensitive issues.” Carlson did not shy away from responding, hitting back, “Well, this is one of the biggest issues in the country and I would think every person in this room would agree that it is an essential issue because these are children who are being altered permanently, and you can defend that alter and that change if you’d like, but there’s really no debate on whether or not it’s permanent.”

The summit, streamed by The Blaze, set the stage for the candidates for the Republican nomination for president. Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley and Sen. Tim Scott, R-S.C., also faced tough questions from Carlson.

Former President Donald Trump, the leading GOP candidate, did not attend the event despite receiving an invite.
