Candace Owens Destroys Amy Schumer on ‘Roe” vs. Slavery

'The black population today would be double if it weren’t for Planned Parenthood...’

(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) Candace Owens absolutely schooled Amy Schumer for comparing the Supreme Court’s Roe v. Wade decision to slavery, providing a lesson in reality versus fantasy warped by leftist dogma.

Owens called out Schumer, one of the “hyper-privileged liberals,” for her remark that the court followed the “intentions of a bunch of slave-owning rapists who’ve been dead for hundreds of years” while making their recent decision to overturn Roe.

“If there’s a picket sign anywhere, Amy Schumer picks it up – she just is like ‘I have to be outside screaming about something,’” Owens said.

Roe V. Wade gets overturned and hyper-privileged liberals want black people to protest on their behalf? Again? No. Not this time.”

Owens also added that it is a Hollywood trope for white, wealthy women to demand something and scream about slavery, if something doesn’t go their way.

“This is a Hollywood trope almost,” she said. “White wealthy women in Hollywood love to basically say ‘I either get what I want, or I’m going to correlate to slavery.’ This is their thing.”

She then added that Schumer’s claim that the founding fathers would oppose abortion is foolish because the medical procedure simply didn’t exist during that time.

“She’s using this because she’s being whiny and she’s being bratty, and she thinks it’s acceptable to harness black pain to get what she wants,” Owens said and compared Schumer’s rhetoric to the one Black Lives Matter used to raise money following George Floyd’s death in May 2020.

Owens said that people advocating for abortion cannot use slavery as their argument because Planned Parenthood, an organization created by Margaret Sanger, is anti-black.

“[Planned Parenthood] was created by a woman that hated black Americans. It was initially called ‘The Negro Project,’” she said. “She put it together because she was a eugenicist, and she did not want black Americans to procreate.”

Sanger thought that abortion is effective when it comes to stopping the growth of the black population, according to Owens.

“[Sanger] spoke in [gatherings of wives of KKK members], and petitioned for abortion,” Owens said. “She wanted abortion because she thought it was a good mechanism to get rid of ‘undesirables.’”

Owens also added that despite the racist origins of Planned Parenthood, Sanger was quite successful in her work.

“The black population today would be double if it weren’t for Planned Parenthood,” Owens said.
