(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) The Freedom Convoy organized and executed by Canadian truckers has inspired other truckers around the world to follow suit, with Australian truckers most recently taking up the mantle, Big Rigs reported.
The truckers plan to drive to the Australian parliament in the nation’s capitol, Canberra.
According to social media reports, truckers plan to “swarm to Canberra to protest mandates and restrictions.” They plan to arrive around 10 AM Australia time.
The truckers, most of whom have been fully compliant with the government’s regulations and simply want to work to earn a living, are being joined by thousands of other motorists.
“We are the people, we own this country, we are the land!” one Australian trucker shouted, rallying a crowd of supporters.

“Canadian truckers rule,” he wrote.
The initial Canadian convoy was organized in protest of the nation’s new regulation that truckers returning from the United States must show proof of vaccination.
But the movement has grown, becoming a general protest of COVID lock downs, and of Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.
As one might have expected, GoFundMe has halted the protest fundraisers in the name of science.
“This fundraiser is currently paused and under review to ensure it complies with our terms of service and applicable laws and regulations,” the woke bureaucrats wrote, pretending to have anyone’s interest in mind but their own.
“Our team is working 24/7 and doing all we can to protect both organizers and donors. Thank you for your patience.”
The company did not say how long the fundraiser would be paused, or what would happen with the $10 million that has been raised so far from over 120,000 donors.
