Calif. Math Prof. Investigated for Disagreeing w/ Transitioning Kids

'We should stand against castrating boys and we should imprison any doctor who cuts off healthy girls breasts... '

(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Sacramento City College in Northern California has launched a “full investigation” into a math professor who sent an email making it clear he is against transitioning children.

According to the Daily Wire, Professor Robert Crawford responded to a faculty-wide newsletter on “The Ethics of Providing Healthcare.” Crawford wrote that kids should “figure out who they are without being bullied into radical surgeries and hormone blockers.”

“We should stand against castrating boys and we should imprison any doctor who cuts off healthy girls [sic] breasts,” Crawford wrote. “This is an evil that we should all be against.”

Other members of the staff criticized Crawford. One response from the Sociology department insisted Crawford explain how a child would “know they are really the opposite gender.”

“They’ve never had the body of the opposite gender so how do they know this? I’ll wait….” the unnamed female faculty member wrote.

Crawford retaliated, accusing the faculty member of being “a double agent parading as a union rep,” who coerced people into getting vaccinated and refused to support those who did not comply with California’s tyrannical mandates. He even went as far as proposing a vote for new leadership before shifting to the original topic.

“With all the people detransitioning and hating their parents for allowing them to butcher their bodies in their naivete [sic] as youths, we need to look far more skeptically at ‘doctors’ and others who would encourage radical surgeries and puberty blockers onto children,” Crawford said. “Follow the money.”

After this email, officials at the college took it upon themselves to launch an investigation into Crawford’s “discrimination or harassment.”

“We have begun a full investigation into the incident and communications in question, and will take all appropriate steps to protect the safety and well-being of our students, faculty, and staff,” said Kaitlyn Collignon, who is acting communications and public information officer at the college.

Crawford may be facing Title VII claims against him, as some of his coworkers may argue that he created a hostile work environment.

In a statement to Sacramento’s local media, Crawford stood behind his statements.

“Feel free to publish my comments as they are,” Crawford said. “I stand behind them 100%. God is my witness and judge in this life not the latest fashions. I am called to speak up for the innocent and defend them.”
