Calif. High School Educator Wants to Silence White People

'We urge the [state board of education] not to give in to the pressures and influences of political lobbyists, racist & privileged white voices and individuals...'

(Dmytro “Henry” AleksandrovHeadline USA) A district administrator from California who is involved in overseeing curriculum revealed that she is a racist after she called to remove “privileged white voices” from stopping leftist teachers’ indoctrination of students with a far-Left ethnic studies curriculum.

In March 2021, Samia Shoman, who oversees the curriculum in the San Mateo Union High School district as manager of English Learners and Academic Support Programs, sent an email to the California State superintendent, Tony Thurmond. Zachor Legal obtained the email via a public record request, according to the New York Post.

In the email, she showed her true colors by saying that “white voices” cannot have any say when it comes to influencing the curriculum.

“We urge the [state board of education] not to give in to the pressures and influences of political lobbyists, racist & privileged white voices and individuals,” she proclaimed.

However, Shoman doesn’t have a problem only with white people. She also has a problem with “multiple perspectives.”

“The proposed revisions privileges terms like ‘multiple perspectives’, ‘diversity’, ‘all students’ and ‘broad range of groups’ undermining the primary focus on the BIPOC (Black, Indigenous, people of color) communities that compose over 80 percent of California’s student population,” Shoman said.

She also said that the proposed Black Lives Matter curriculum lesson is not enough and that it should be more extreme.

“[E]ven in the African American lesson on the Black Lives Matter movement, which is a direct response white supremacy fails to call out and analyze racism and systemic oppression,” Shoman said.

Like a true leftist, Shoman supports Palestine. Because of her political ideology, she opposed the revision of the curriculum to include Jewish-American Studies.

“The position taken by Shamia Shoman and others to treat Jews, the true indigenous people of the land of Israel, as ‘white’ occupiers and colonists is utterly at odds with history and facts,” Marc Greendorfer of Zachor Legal said. While the idea of ensuring students are taught about the history of all ethnicities is one we support, we have found that these programs are anything but educational.

“Instead, they are political indoctrination by extremists who are working to institutionalize bigotry and hate in education,” he added.
