Buzz Builds over New Alex Jones Documentary after Trailer Release

'Everything's a war, that's the way the universe works, and everything is propaganda... '

(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) The first official trailer for a documentary about Infowars broadcaster Alex Jones, “Alex’s War,” has been released to great fanfare, according to a report in Summit News.

“I’m the most banned, most demonized media person in the world,” Jones says as the trailer opens.

Highlights from the trailer show Jones slashing a United Nations flag as he shouts “death to the new world order,” interviewing future president Donald Trump, and speaking to the crowds in Washington D.C. on Jan. 6.

In the trailer, Jones distilled the essence of his motivation.

“It was that attack on humanity that I saw early on that I really wanted to wage war on,” Jones said. “Everything’s a war, that’s the way the universe works, and everything is propaganda.”

The documentary was made by director Alex Lee Moyer, the filmmaker who directed TFW NO GF, a documentary about incel culture that was well received on the Right.

According to a post at Infowars, the film includes “Jones’ first ever independent long-form interviews . . . and full access to the Infowars archives.”

The film traces Jones’ career up until the aftermath of the 2020 presidential election, which Jones calls “the decisive point in the fate of humanity.”

Moyer has said that her aim is not “tabloid-y,” but rather about the “scope of Alex’s career.”

“It’s set against the backdrop of the fallout around the election,” she told the Red Scare podcast.

Moyer’s presence along with of a handful of other filmmakers at the Capitol on Jan. 6 has been the subject of some controversy.

Documentarian Nick Quested was there to film the Proud Boys, Alex Holder as part of a documentary on Donald Trump, and Moyer along with Jones.

Both Quested and Holder have been subpoenaed by the J6 Committee, but so far Moyer has not.
