AOC Slammed for Whining that $174K Salary Isn’t Enough

'The House remains a very hostile place to have a baby... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., whined earlier this week about her $174,000 salary being too low for a hard-working, middle-class citizen like herself.

AOC offered a long list of complaints against Congress, whining that working for the U.S. government is not as lucrative as it ought to be, the Citizen Free Press reported.

According to the Rep., the money is not enough for those like her who believe that they are working class Americans.

And, despite having suggested in the past that she will not have any children because she is so worried about climate change, AOC fretted about the lack of maternity benefits for women in Congress, going so far as to call it “hostile.”

“The House remains a very hostile place to have a baby, with vote schedules pretty much assuming no one has a family and often requiring travel [two times] a week and changing last minute,” she whined.

The Rep. also suggested that most members of Congress–especially Republicans–are independently wealthy, and so they often vote to not give themselves pay raises.

AOC was mocked on Twitter for her vapid complaining.

Some even noted that AOC’s inability to get rich in the American Congress shows how incapable she truly is.

Of course AOC, who has spent the better part of her Congressional career calling for more taxes, higher wages, and student loan forgiveness, already makes triple the average American salary.
