President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden now believe that the pandemic has ended, dining at and leaving a swanky DC restaurant with no masks on, the Washingtonian reported.
The Bidens dined on lobster at Fiola Mare, a fancy Italian seafood restaurant in Georgetown.
In a video taken of the first couple, the president and his wife can be seen leaving the restaurant maskless, despite making constant demands on others to wear masks.
Washington, DC, still requires that masks be worn indoors at restaurants, except when eating or drinking. The mandate was reinstated in July and is mandatory for everyone over the age of 2 indoors.
Fiola Mare’s own website states, “Per CDC guidance and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser’s executive order, all individuals over age 2 are required to wear a mask indoors, regardless of vaccination status. Masks must be always worn while in our restaurants, except while eating and drinking. Thank you for understanding.”
When asked about the footage on Monday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki dismissed Biden’s maskless negligence as a minor incident that doesn’t deserve media attention.

For years now the leftist ruling class has felt little need to follow its own rules while insulating itself from the effects of its policies.
California Gov. Gavin Newsom, also a Democrat has achieved infamy for his willingness to circumvent his own policies, while Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer and others are not far behind.
Recently Newsom flouted his own vaccine policies, keeping his 12-year-old daughter from the vaccine while avoiding his own state’s public school system by sending her to a ritzy private school, which remained in-person during most of the pandemic.
He was also caught dining indoors at a fancy Napa Valley restaurant, the French Laundry, with a large group while telling Californians to avoid such gatherings.
Whitmer, meanwhile, dodged her own mandates, making what she called a “human mistake” of being in a crowded bar during her own strict COVID lockdowns.
She also claimed first-class citizenship due to her vaccination status.
“Throughout the pandemic, I’ve been committed to following public health protocols,” Whitmer wrote in a statement. “Yesterday, I went with friends to a local restaurant. As more people arrived, the tables were pushed together. Because we were all vaccinated, we didn’t stop to think about it.”
D.C.’s own Mayor Muriel Bowser has been caught violating the mask mandate as well. As recently as September, Bowser was caught maskless while attending a panel at a convention center. She was also seen attending an indoor wedding without wearing a mask.
