(Chris Parker, Headline USA) After dropping a litany of lies at two college commencement ceremonies, President Joe Biden is back again to using misinformation to erode Americans’ rights to self-defense.
This time, he’s using exacerbated claims to push for a ban on the most popular gun among Americans – the 9mm pistol, reported the Daily Wire.
According to Biden, the handgun “blows the lung out of the body,” comparing it to a .22 caliber bullet only becoming lodged in a person’s body. Numerous sources have confirmed the statement is false, including those often accused of having a liberal bias.
But it wasn’t just the gaffe that turned heads – it was the sudden focus on a “less scary” gun than the “assault rifles” that Democrats have targeted in the past. In other words, a growing number of enthusiasts, experts, and pundits believe that his latest tirade is an assault on ALL forms of gun ownership.
Twitter also bashed Biden for trying to destroy the 2nd Amendment. Congressional candidate Robby Starbuck tweeted Biden’s statement “has to be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever heard.”
Journalist Stephen L. Miller was more direct in his Tweet: “Going after 9mm means going after hand guns. Not just rifles. Have fun.”
Journalist Mary Katharine Ham also echoed the Left’s ultimate goal.
Eventually most gun-control activists, lefty pundits will admit this is the endgame. You just have to ask them enough questions. Oh, so you just wanna ban semi-auto long guns? What about handguns, which account for more crimes? Oh, ban semi-auto handguns, too? I see.

Biden has previously admitted that he lacks the authority to ban firearms on his own. He has called for Congress to take action. He also promised to meet with lawmakers this week and reiterated his belief that some Republicans will cave on the issue.
However, several GOP lawmakers have already railed against Biden’s proposed gun control policies.
“Biden’s ignorance is a threat to our constitutional liberties,” Rep. Markwayne Mullin, R-Okla., said during a press conference.
House Minority Whip Steve Scalise, R-La., also said in an email to Fox News that Biden “finally admitted how widespread the Socialist-Democrats’ gun control agenda is when he calls for the banning of handguns that citizens use to keep their families safe from criminals.”
