(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Alejandro Mayorkas and the Department of Homeland Security are in the process of recruiting government volunteers to assist with border clean up, as illegal immigrants have been leaving behind monumental amounts of trash.
“They want people to volunteer to pick up garbage along the border,” said Fox News host Bill Hemmer. “I don’t know how you define that job.”
Items found include anything from used diapers to soiled clothing.
DHS is seeking out Defense Department volunteers to help clean up.
Former acting DHS Secretary Chad Wolf said he was infuriated by the request, particularly because this will do nothing to help solve the problem.
Wolf also said that some volunteers were being recruited to help process illegals crossing the border, who are coming in huge numbers.
The border has seen a record number of illegal immigrants, with over 2.1 million encounters in 2022 so far.

“Volunteers”? How about sending our military? They consist of plenty of “volunteers”. Perhaps they should be considered while our country is being invaded. And…..they know how to handle a weapon. Unlike Gladys in accounting looking for a warm winter retreat.
