(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden told reporters on Wednesday that terrorist groups in the Gaza Strip “gotta learn how to shoot straight” after a failed Palestinian rocket landed on the parking lot of one of their own hospitals.

The bomb, falsely attributed to Israeli forces at first, was actually launched by Gaza-based terror group Islamic Jihad, known for its aim to establish a caliphate in Israel.
“I’m not suggesting that Hamas deliberately did it,” Biden added, downplaying the suggestion that Hamas deliberately aimed for their own residents.
“It’s that old thing: Gotta learn how to shoot straight,” Biden said during press remarks at the Ramstein Air Base in Germany on his return to Washington, D.C. “It’s not the first time that Hamas has launched something that didn’t function very well.”
His remarks were part of his broader support for Israel’s recent actions against the Gaza-based Hamas terrorist group, following the Oct. 7 attack in southern Israel.
However, the president’s trip was marred by several verbal slips and inaccuracies. In one instance, he appeared to speak in slurred sentences, making a point about empathizing with those affected by mass shootings.

“Virtually every… mass shooting… every… circumstance where large number of people have been victimized and lost, I spoke to them… I learned a long time ago, but you all learned in your life as well,” Biden told reporters.
“When someone’s going through something that is beyond their comprehension… if they see someone who they think understands…” he added. “You know I always get criticized sometimes by my staff because when I go to these events I stay for 3 or 4 hours and answer all their questions.”

Upon his arrival, Biden also referred to Hamas as simply “the other team,” accusing them of being responsible for the alleged bombing of the hospital.
In another misstep, Biden mistakenly claimed to have visited Israel before the Six-Day War in 1967, a statement that drew criticism from his detractors.
“I remember the first time I was in Israel with Golda Meir. It was right before the Six-Day War,” Biden said.
His first visit as U.S. senator, however, was in 1973, before the Yom Kippur War—not the Six-Day War. “The Six Day War was 1967 …when Joe Biden was 25 and at college,” said John Ruddick, a member of the Australian Parliament, on a Twitter post.

Biden critics noticed the stark discrepancies in the timeframe and blasted him for the embarrassing claim.
