(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden said Saturday that white supremacy was the “most dangerous terrorist threat” to the U.S. caused during his Saturday commencement speech at the historically black Howard University.
“The most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy,” Biden claimed during the address Saturday. “I’m not saying this because I’m at a Black HBCU, I say it wherever I go.”
In June 2021, Biden echoed a similar claim, saying white supremacists were the “most lethal threat” to the nation. In the span of three years, Biden has claimed that former President Donald Trump and the protestors at the January 6 riot were white supremacists.
During his Howard speech, Biden doubled down with claims that white supremacy inspired Trump supporters to storm into the U.S. Capitol in 2021.
“January 2021, I stood in the U.S. Capitol to be inaugurated as president of the United States,” Biden continued. “Just days before, on that very spot, a violent insurrection took place. A dagger at the throat of democracy. For the first time in our history, an attempt to stop a peaceful transfer of power in this country. They failed. Our democracy held. Again hope prevailed.”
Biden’s controversial remarks were torched by several conservative commentators on Twitter, with Republican Party communications staffer Jake Schneider calling Biden “Divider-in-chief.”
“Divider-in-chief Joe Biden, at Howard University, says ‘the most dangerous terrorist threat to our homeland is white supremacy,’” Schneider said, also sharing the embattled Biden speech.
Renowned journalist and New York Post columnist Miranda Devine accused Biden of creating a distraction to avoid accountability over the border chaos amid the ending of the Trump-era health emergency policy Title 42.
“He’s creating a distraction,” Devine said on a Twitter post Saturday. “Clearly the biggest threat to America is what’s happening at the southern border since he took office. But he’d rather we talk about white supremacy. The NYT and WaPo will happily comply.”

Presidential candidate Vivek Ramaswamy called Biden’s marks “deranged” on a Saturday post
“Biden says the biggest threat to our homeland isn’t fentanyl. It isn’t China. It’s “white supremacy.” This is utterly deranged.”
