AOC and Kamala at Odds over 2024

'We Will run together... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, D-N.Y., and Vice President Kamala Harris have butted heads regarding the Democrats’ plans for the 2024 presidential race.

Earlier this week Harris told CNN that “Joe Biden is running for reelection, and I will be his ticket mate. Full stop.”

But she shifted her narrative two days later, sending out an email clarifying what she meant and giving more room for Biden to back out, reported the Daily Mail.

“The White House said VPOTUS wanted to clarify comments she made on CNN a few days ago. When asked if Biden was definitely running, Harris replied: ‘The president intends to run and if he does, I will be his ticket mate. We Will run together.'”

But according to a report from the Daily Wire, AOC does not plan to simply back down and let Sleepy Joe or Cackling Kamala run the show.

During an appearance this week on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, the leftist Squad leader did not rule out a potential 2024 run when pressed on the matter.

“You know, there’s some speculation as to whether President Biden is going to run in 2024,” host Colbert said.

“You know, I know somebody who’s going to turn 35 about a month before the election in 2024 and they represent New York’s 14th [Congressional District]. Is that job appealing to you at all?”

AOC suggested in response that anybody should be able to be president.

“Listen, I think that we need to focus on keeping a democracy for anybody to be president in the next couple of years,” she replied. “And that’s my central focus, is helping the people of this country right now.”

Colbert continued to push for an answer.

“So it’s possible?” he asked.

“I don’t know about all that,” AOC said, refusing to answer one way or another. “I don’t know about that.”
