(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) A damning report accused ranked choice voting of secretly propping up leftist campaigns in a bid to thwart Republicans in upcoming elections.
According to research by the Foundation for Government Accountability (FGA), Democrats have used rank-choice voting (RCV) to disenfranchise voters across the country. The report found that a significant majority of pro-RCV legislation, specifically 57 out of 74 bills, were sponsored solely by Democrats.
In stark contrast, just eight percent of the total bills attained bipartisan support as Republicans introduced 16 of the 17 bills against the infamous voting method, the report found.
🗑️ TRASHED BALLOTS? 🗑️
Yes. It happens under ranked-choice voting to create a false majority and engineer election results.

“Legislation supporting ranked-choice voting is overwhelmingly sponsored by Democrats,” the report read, before calling for the banning of the practice. “To protect voters and their ballots, states should follow the lead of Florida, Idaho, Montana, South Dakota, and Tennessee and ban ranked-choice voting.”
An alarming revelation in the report alleged that thousands of ballots are disregarded in the process of achieving the necessary majority vote for ranked-choice voting.
The report highlighted a noticeable surge in the adoption of ranked choice voting ahead of the 2024 presidential election, citing disturbing instances where the system reportedly favored Democratic candidates over popular Republican contenders in federal elections, notably in Maine and Alaska.

The Federalist, the first to report the FGA’s findings, shed light on the recent case of Democrat Mary Peltola winning Alaska’s at-large congressional seat in 2023, despite the fact that a significant majority of voters cast their ballots for a Republican candidate.
Similarly, in Maine, the report detailed the defeat of then-Republican Rep. Bruce Poliquin by Democrat Jared Golden, despite Poliquin securing a majority of votes in the first round. As detailed by the report, over 8,000 ballots were deemed ‘exhausted” and thus thrown out.
The report concluded with fiery words, calling the method “complicated” and a “scheme of the Left to disenfranchise voters and elect more Democrats.”
