(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) President Joe Biden, known for his diverse array of talents, including allegedly advising his siblings on setting up shell companies to receiving bribes from foreign governments, has recently added another feather to his cap: that of a historian.
During a recent Arizona speech in honor of late Sen. John McCain, R-Ariz., the 81-year-old president bewildered many as he appeared to refer to the historic D-Day as an “insurrection.” Who would’ve thought?

“From the speech I made at Gettysburg, an Inaugural Address, to the anniversary of the June 6th insurrection,” Biden began, before adding, “Or January 6th insurrection, to Independence Hall in Philadelphia — to the speech I made at Union Station in Washington, I’ve spoken about the danger of election denialism, political violence, and the battle for the soul of America.”
D-Day, which took place on June 6, 1944, marked a turning point in history, igniting the liberation of France and later Western Europe from Nazi Germany’s control.
However, Biden, who has an entire team of White House staffers to ensure that he doesn’t trip over his own steps, appeared to have confused Jan. 6 with June 6, despite reading straight from a teleprompter.
Biden’s faux pas of D-Day came in the wake of his international allies, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, delivering a standing ovation to a former Nazi veteran and later apologizing for it.

Additionally, this would not be the first time Biden came under fire for his failed attempt at revisionist history. On the 22nd memorial of Sept. 11, Biden falsely claimed he was present on Ground Zero the day of the terrorist attack in 2001.
Just a week prior, Biden faced scathing criticism from U.S. veterans for opting to take a trip to Alaska and not the Pentagon or New York City to commemorate those who died on Sept. 11.
BIDEN: “Ground Zero in New York — I remember standing there the next day and looking at the building. I felt like I was looking through the gates of hell.”

In another incident from earlier this month, during a ceremony honoring a Medal of Honor recipient, Biden abruptly left the room even before the closing benediction.
Perhaps the most notable gaffe occurred during the arrival of the bodies of 13 servicemembers killed in Kabul, where an impatient Biden was caught on video checking his watch—a move that sparked intense criticism.
