(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) Having nearly broken the internet with a blockbuster interview of Donald Trump that eclipsed Fox News’ broadcast of the GOP presidential primary debate, Tucker Carlson is reportedly pursuing an interview with Vladimir Putin.
The Russia Times‘s editor-in-chief was quoted as confirming that Carlson had requested an interview with the Russian leader.
“Tucker is a great fellow, he, by the way, really asks for an interview with Vladimir Putin,” Margarita Simonyan reportedly said on the air of the Rossiya-1 TV channel. “If suddenly someone heard and conveyed this to the president, it would be great.”

If disrupting Fox News’s sparsely watched GOP debate with a record-breaking interview seemed like a power play, then scoring a Putin interview may be Carlson’s ultimate payback against his former network.
It is suspected that at least one cause behind his firing may have been that the media company faced pressure from the woke, multi-trillion-dollar asset manager BlackRock, which began a major buyup of Fox shares in January.
BlackRock, which effectively launched the ESG movement and has deep ties to the Obama/Biden White House, is also overseeing the financial “Great Reset” in Ukraine.
After gaining a significant shareholder stake, the investment company is likely to have exerted pressure on Fox to settle a defamation lawsuit with Dominion Voting Systems—one of the terms of which was to silence Carlson, the network’s most popular host, and an outspoken skeptic of U.S. involvement in the Ukraine conflict.
Carlson has made no public comment on a potential Putin interview, which would represent not only another massive media coup for Carlson, but also a solid slap back at a Biden administration that allegedly weaponized the National Security Agency to derail Carlson’s previous effort to obtain an interview with the Russian leader in the run-up to the ongoing Ukraine conflict.
“Notably, the NSA spied on Tucker Carlson to prevent a pre-war interview with Putin, potentially stopping the American public from gaining insight into Putin’s perspective before the US-Russia proxy war in Ukraine,” reminded investigative journalist Kanekoa The Great.
The prospect of a Carlson interview with Putin drew overwhelming praise on the platform formerly known as Twitter, along with skepticism that an entrenched establishment and compliant corporate media would ever allow it to happen.

“You thought Tucker’s interview with Trump made the Libs upset, just wait until he interviews Putin,” tweeted the Clandestine account. “The Deep State can’t have this. Tucker’s platform is colossal and they can’t let people see that Putin is not the deranged warmonger they told us he was.”
In Sunday’s Twitter post reporting the news, KTG conceded that establishment swamp agents have “done everything in their power to censor alternative perspectives in the West,” while arguing that “Encouraging open conversations between both sides is the only way this conflict ends. I hope it happens.”

News of Carlson pursuing a Putin interview surfaced midstream of a remarkable run of engaging and spirited talks that Carlson has aired on his new show, Tucker on X, referring to the newly rebranded Twitter.
Carlson’s interview with Trump hauled in nearly 260 million views with numbers still climbing, and was preceded by a string of acclaimed episodes that included talks ranging from RFK Jr. and rapper Ice Cube to Biden Inc. whistleblower Devon Archer and former Capitol Police Chief Steven Sund.
Carlson teased his next potential blockbuster of an interview with Hungary Prime Minister Viktor Orban, which slated to drop soon.
