Legal Trouble? White House Counsel Jumps Ship Amid Multiple Criminal Investigations of Biden Inc.

'Stuart Delery has been a trusted adviser...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) President Joe Biden announced that the White House counsel will step down next month after nearly three years of working for the Democrat administration.

Stuart Delery’s departure comes at a critical time for the White House, notably as House Republicans ramp up their investigation into the Biden administration’s actions, including damning allegations of bribery and political corruption.

The announcement of Delery’s exit coincided with the House Oversight Committee revealing Thursday that one of its investigations had uncovered yet another fake alias Joe Biden likely used to launder funds from Hunter.

In a press release, Biden himself thanked Delery for his service. “Stuart Delery has been a trusted adviser and a constant source of innovative legal thinking since Day One of my Administration,” Biden stated, before listing Delery’s role in major controversial initiatives led by the Biden administration.

“From his work during those early days on COVID-19… to the implementation of major legislative accomplishments such as the American Rescue Plan, the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, and the Inflation Reduction Act, he has been an integral part of my team and will be missed throughout the Administration,” Biden added in the statement.

Delery first joined the Biden team as deputy counsel for the transition team following the contentious 2020 presidential election. As reported by Fox News, he was promoted to a high-level job at the White House when Dana Remus, the first Biden counsel, exited the administration.

The timing of Delery’s exit raised eyebrows, coinciding with mounting pressure from the GOP following testimony and evidence of misconduct, particularly tied to the allegations of political protection of the embattled First Son Hunter Biden.

Rep. Greg Stuebe, R-Fla, introduced impeachment articles against Biden on Aug. 11, citing mounting evidence that Biden played an active role in an alleged bribery scheme when he served as vice president.

“It’s our obligation as members of Congress to stand up for America when we see crimes being committed by the President,” Stuebe said earlier this week in an interview with Fox News. “That’s why I filed articles of impeachment against Joe Biden.”

Republican-led criticism has fueled up following the abrupt failure of what Biden’s critics described as a “sweetheart” plea deal between federal prosecutors led by U.S. District Attorney David Weiss and Hunter, who had been under criminal investigation since 2018.

The deal’s failure prompted Weiss to successfully request special counsel status from Attorney General Merrick Garland.

The Bidens are now facing two special counsels, one related to President Biden’s potential mishandling of classified documents and the second related to Hunter.

It is not immediately clear whether Delery was involved in those two legal scandals.
