(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Former Attorney General Bill Barr has expressed his opposition to Donald Trump’s prominent presidential campaign, leading to criticism from many who consider his remarks as hysterical against the former Republican president.
NBC News asked about Barr’s voting preferences if Trump and Biden were the nominees for the Republican and Democrat tickets in 2024.
Barr responded to NBC News by saying, “I have made clear that I strongly oppose Trump for the nomination and will not endorse him. I’ll jump off that bridge when I get to it.”
Barr’s detractors took to Twitter to ridicule his distaste for Trump. Collin Rugg, co-owner of Trending Politics, shared the news with a tweet questioning Barr’s protection of the Biden family.
Popular author and Fox News host Mark Levin chimed in, simply saying, “This says it all.”

Podcast host James David Dickson mocked Barr’s dramatic stance, stating, “Our Most Serious People are constantly putting clown noses on their own faces; the esteemed Bill Barr is as dramatic as a teenager.”

Barr’s relationship with Trump has been tumultuous, marked by frequent clashes during Trump’s tenure. Trump even publicly referred to Barr as a “gutless pig” during one heated exchange.
Despite the animosity, Barr remains firm in his stance against supporting Trump for the nomination.
NBC News contacted 44 former Trump cabinet members to inquire about their support for Trump’s bid in the 2024 presidency.
Former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, along with four other former officials, confirmed their support for him.
Trump continues to lead the polls and has embarked on a campaign trail to promote his 2024 agenda. Recently, he vowed to carry out the largest deportation operation in the nation’s history.
