AMC Theaters Accused of Turning Off AC to Sabotage ‘Sound of Freedom’

'I did not move from my seat, even though I was dripping with sweat... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) Moviegoers who have paid to see Sound of Freedom in recent days have found on numerous occasions that AMC Theaters’ air conditioners have mysteriously broken during screenings of the anti-pedophile movie across the country, Newsweek reported.

According to one TikTok user, Jamskillet, he and his girlfriend went to see the James Caviezel film at a usually-reliable AMC move theater in Ohio. But partway through the movie, they realized that it was incredibly hot inside the theater.

“This particular time was really uncomfortable to sit through,” he said. “There was no AC running, it was unbearably hot. So I go out and I asked if they can turn the AC on and they told me that it wasn’t working.”

Several days later, he noticed that hundreds of others across America were experiencing the same air conditioner failures during AMC showings of Sound of Freedom.

“I didn’t think anything of this until I got on TikTok a few days later, and come to find out that hundreds of other people are experiencing the same thing,” he said.

“So AMC and Regal, the people who own it, are not running AC and they’re making it hard to get tickets. And that should make you want to go see this movie even more.”

Another TikTok user, @sunni17q, who is based in Mandeville, Louisiana, noted that she experienced the same exact thing during the showing.

“Through the movie. . . I did not move from my seat, even though I was dripping with sweat,” she said.

“I didn’t think about it once until I started seeing all these videos about how there was no AC in there. There was no AC.”

Numerous others cited their own experience of the same thing happening, leading Thomas Lifson at the American Thinker to speculate that AMC might be intentionally sabotaging the movie.

Such tactics would not be surprising, especially since the corporate media has attempted to link the film to QAnon and other disreputable groups.
