Schumer Now Claims Supreme Court’s 3 Liberal Justices Are ‘MAGA’ Too

'Sotomayor, Kagan, and Brown Jackson are MAGA now. Hot damn! We are truly changing the world... '

(Abdul–Rahman Oladimeji Bello, Headline USA) Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, seemingly unsatisfied with the court’s unanimous ruling on the regulatory reach of the EPA, proceeded to slam the Supreme Court and its justices on social media.

The high court this week made unanimously ruled to strike down Biden’s EPA land grab, effectively putting brakes on the Biden administration’s effort to regulate all “relatively permanent” waterways under the Clean Water Act.

“This MAGA Supreme Court is continuing to erode our country’s environmental laws,” Schumer said on Twitter. “Make no mistake – this ruling will mean more polluted water, and more destruction of wetlands.”

Following Schumer’s declaration of all nine justices as MAGA, users on social media blasted the democrat, noting that he considers every person with an opposing opinion as MAGA.

Scott Stephenson tweeted, “Sotomayor, Kagan, and Brown Jackson are MAGA now. Hot damn! We are truly changing the world.”

Responding to Schumer’s tweet, George Wirth also tweeted, “The EPA keeps broadening the definition of what constitutes things like “waterway” or “wetland”; which means they are unilaterally increasing their own authority and power. These definitions (and the EPA’s jurisdiction) are supposed to be set by Congress, not the EPA itself.”

Writing for five justices, Justice Samuel Alito released an opinion after Thursday’s ruling, writing that, “Understanding the CWA to apply to wetlands that are distinguishable from otherwise covered ‘waters of the United States’ would substantially broaden [existing statute] to define ‘navigable waters’ as ‘waters of the United States and adjacent wetlands.”

Taking the same stand as Schumer, the White House reportedly commented that the court’s ruling “aims to take our country backwards.” By contrast, Republicans and industry groups, along with farmers and property owners, celebrated the ruling as a blow against excessive regulation and federal overreach.

Rep. Matt Rosendale, R-Mont., derided the Biden regime for “weaponizing” its expanded EPA reach as a power grab.

“In a major victory for Montana farmers and ranchers, the Supreme Court ruled against this unconstitutional overreach and reaffirmed the rights of private property owners.”
