(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A college student posted a video to TikTok to tell her followers that she got a zero on an assignment for using the term “biological women,” the Young Americans Foundation reported.
The professor in question wrote an accompanying message describing why he failed the student.
“Olivia, this is a solid proposal,” the professor wrote. “However, the terms ‘biological women’ are exclusionary and are not allowed in this course as they further reinforce heteronormativity.”
The student complained that she had been graded not on the quality of her work, but based upon the fact that she failed to appease the partisan preferences of her professor.
“I 100% know that this is the most biased grade ever because my project is about transgenders competing in biological women’s sports,” the student said, questioning the viability of completing any project at all if such basic statements would be treated as untenable political positions.
“How am I supposed to do my final project if I can’t use the word ‘biological woman’, but that’s what my project is about?” she asked.
In later videos, the student responded to various comments made by other TikTok users. One suggested that she email the dean of the department, while a commentator on Twitter, where the video was also posted, advised, “Sue them. Chromosomes don’t lie.”
“I decided I’m going to screenshot all my emails, send my assignment, the comments she made, all to the Equal Opportunity [Office], and we’ll see how it goes,” she responded, noting that she has only a couple of days remaining in the semester to set things right before grades are entered.
Such treatment is just one indication of the mass levels of rot that have overtaken American universities in recent decades while few make a stand against the politicized bullying on the part of campus leftists.
Given that as a backdrop, many commentators doubted if there would be any repercussions for the professor.
“Firing the teacher? Why would they fire her while she’s doing exactly what they want from her to do,” noted one reply.
Whatever the subject matter, woke teachers use the role of teacher to serve as means to obtain a sort of unenlightented obedience or compliance in children, specifically as wielded against any noncompliance with the favored political correctness ideology. Groomers.
