Dan Bongino Reveals Shocking Details Behind Abrupt Fox Exit

'I just give him the middle finger it's just stupid they're just making it up...'

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Renowned cable news host and conservative commentator, Dan Bongino, has broken his silence about his abrupt departure in April from the Fox News Channel that has made him a household name.

Bongino, known for his fiery and thought-provoking commentary, left conservative viewers puzzled and speculating whether his exit was tied to Tucker Carlson’s infamous exit.

During an interview with The Megyn Kelly Show Friday, Bongino revealed that his exit from the conservative channel was related to a contract dispute over the ownership of the show.

“They wanted the show,” Bongino told Kelly Friday, “I just had a different vision for my role at the network and that’s okay. I’m not the Saturday guy, Megyn I’m sorry. I can’t work six days a week. I’ve got young kids and I’m not working six days a week.”

Bongino, who also owns several businesses and hosts The Dan Bongino Show on Rumble, dispersed leftist rumors that he was forcibly ousted by Fox executives. “I definitely was not fired. Liberals are just making that up,” Bongino said, later touting his businesses.

“I’ve got my own stuff I’ve got my own investments. I’ve got Rumble. I’ve got my podcast, my radio show,” Bongino continued.

As soon as it was announced Bongino was departing Fox, several outlets insinuated that this was tied to the $787.5 million settlement with Dominion Voting Systems, but he dispersed those rumors last month in an emotional episode of his Rumble podcast.

“I just give him the middle finger it’s just stupid they’re just making it up,” Bongino told Kelly about several media outlets, including Los Angeles Magazine, which falsely claimed that he had been fired.

In terms of contract obligations, Bongino said he was financially able to reject Fox’s offers. “Money buys freedom,” he said. “I hate to say it but it’s true. I know you’re not in this strictly for the cheese but let’s be honest, you know, [Money] buys you freedom and I was in a position with them where I could walk away from a show on Fox and say I’m sorry, that’s not my vision.”

After departing from Fox, Bongino has been diligently engaged in various projects, one of which includes the aforementioned Rumble show.

Kelly highlighted the missed opportunity of replacing Carlson with Bongino at Fox, as the network grapples with significantly low viewership figures, rendering Bongino’s departure counterproductive.

“I’m sure they’re regretting it now. You’re one of the people they could have slid into that eight o’clock time slot and win back over those angry viewers,” Kelly said.
