(Luis Cornelio, Headline USA) Hunter Biden declared himself a man of traditional family values, despite a long history of sexual controversies that includes cheating on his first wife with his late brother’s widow and prostitutes and then fathering a child with another woman.
The disgraced former first son made the self-assessment while taking a swipe at Donald Trump Jr. and his wife, Bettina, who in September faced a wave of negative headlines over reports that a “Russian oligarch” hosted some of their wedding celebrations.
“So not only did a Russian Oligarch connected to Putin pay for Don Jr.s wedding party- they went on a Mongolian honeymoon hunting trip together too,” Hunter wrote Tuesday on X. “I chose a more traditional family values honeymoon in Hawaii with my wife.”
He also shared a photo alongside his new wife, Melissa Cohen.

Hunter appeared to be referring to a controversy fueled by Democrats over Trump Jr.’s wedding celebrations in the Bahamas, some of which were gifted to him by his friend, Umar Kremlev, the secretary general of the Russian Boxing Federation. The headlines went away after Trump Jr. reimbursed Kremlev for the festivities.
This was the second time Hunter had targeted Trump Jr. over his wedding.
On Oct. 17, Hunter wrote via Instagram: “Don Jr needed a Russian oligarch, two islands, and a fireworks show. I got married on the rooftop of an apartment building in West Hollywood. It was so much cooler.”

Hunter’s remarks were quickly met with responses, primarily from users who pointed to his past infidelity. First, critics wrote that he had a romantic relationship with Hallie Biden, the widow of his late brother Beau, while he was married to his first wife, Kathleen Buhle.
Hunter also reportedly cheated on Buhle with several escorts and prostitutes, according to Buhle.
In her memoir, she wrote, “Anger is such a heavy weight to carry and I was in a lot of pain. There was a lot that happened that was very hard for me. And when I made the decision to divorce, I wanted to let go of all of that.”
Separately, Hunter fathered a child with Lunden Alexis Roberts, a woman he briefly met in 2018 while struggling with drug addiction. Hunter disputed being the child’s father and initially declined to pay child support, facing a lengthy legal battle with Roberts over paternity and the payments.
DNA testing confirmed Navy Joan Roberts was Hunter’s daughter, but he still did not meet her. Joe Biden also had not met his granddaughter as of 2024, according to reports.
Hunter’s attacks against Trump Jr. come as he has increased his social media presence since his father left office in January 2025.
