REPORT: DOJ Has Been Sitting on Biden Bribery Allegations Since 2018

'It doesn’t make much sense to investigate the guy who brings you the allegation rather than the allegation ... '

(Headline USA) The Justice Department has known of allegations made against then-Vice President Joe Biden for allegedly accepting a bribe from a foreign national since 2018, according to a report.

Bud Cummins, a former federal prosecutor, first reported the allegations that Biden had accepted money from a foreign national in exchange for a policy decision to then-New York U.S. Attorney Geoff Berman on Oct. 4, 2019, an email between the two officials revealed.

The email, obtained by John Solomon’s Just The News, shows Cummins informing Berman that Ukraine’s then-Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko wanted to travel to the U.S. to meet with Berman. Cummins also said Lutsenko could provide two “John Doe” witnesses to corroborate the bribery claims against Biden and other members of the Biden family.

“There is a claim they have proof of a wire of significant funds from Zlochevsky to Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC which they claim directly went to the benefit of Joe Biden,” Cummins wrote in the email. “I have never understood why they think they know it went to him. I think the entity was associated with Hunter Biden and Archer.”

But Berman never responded, according to Cummins.

Cummins then wrote to Berman again, reminding him of the allegations.

“All I have been told is that the person who made the transfers was told that ‘one goes to Joe Biden.’ A little thin,” Cummins wrote.

Still, Cummins received no response from Berman. Cummins said he believes the investigation was deliberately “stone-walled.”

“I can’t really imagine a legitimate reason for the DOJ not to follow up on an offer like that,” he said. “I felt like it was stonewalled.”

Moreover, Cummins accused the Justice Department of “retaliating” against him issuing a grand jury subpoena to Apple to secretly obtain data from his iPhone in 2019.

“It doesn’t make much sense to investigate the guy who brings you the allegation rather than the allegation,” he said.
