New ‘Twitter Files’ Bust Fauci for Lies, Hijacking White House Twitter Page

'I don't intend on having a Twitter account, and I've had nothing to do with Twitter... '

(Luis CornelioHeadline USA) Dr. Anthony Fauci may have lied under oath during a 7-hour deposition and in cable news interviews when he denied ever using Twitter when asked about potential coverup in gain-of-function research in Wuhan, scathing evidence revealed Thursday.

Disinformation Chronicle journalist Paul D. Thacker reported that in March 2021, an internal Twitter report showed that Fauci used the Twitter page of the White House COVID Response, directly contradicting Fauci’s sworn testimony that he had never used Twitter. Fauci cites his lack of Twitter knowledge as reason to dismiss online claims that the COVID-19 pandemic was caused by research in Wuhan.

Fauci testified in December 2022 before Attorney General Jeff Landry, R-La., as part of Louisiana and Missouri’s lawsuit against the U.S. government and the Biden administration for allegedly colluding with Big Tech to muzzle speech.

“Did you ever have any communications with anybody removing speech about the lab leak theory of the origins of the COVID from social media platforms,” asked then-Missouri Solicitor General D. John Sauer according to the transcript of the deposition reviewed by Headline USA.

“I don’t have an account,” Fauci said during the deposition, noted Thacker. “I don’t tweet. I don’t pay attention to social media. I wouldn’t know how to access a tweet if you paid me.”

“You know, I’m so dissociated from social media,” Fauci said earlier in the deposition.  “I don’t have a Twitter account. I don’t do Facebook. I don’t do any of that, so I’m not familiar with that. I’ve never gotten involved in any of that.”

Fauci’s sworn testimony, however, appears to be directly contradicted by Thacker’s findings. “Dr. Anthony Fauci did an account takeover for @WHCOVIDResponse,” the Twitter memo first unveiled by Thacker showed.

In similar statements to Fox News’s Neil Cavuto, Fauci denied ever using Twitter.

“I have no idea what he’s talking about—I wish I did,” responded Fauci in reference to a tweet posted by Elon Musk saying “Prosecute/Fauci.”

“A lot of people are spouting out a lot of things about me in Twitter,” Fauci said. “I’ve never had a Twitter account. I don’t intend on having a Twitter account, and I’ve had nothing to do with Twitter. So, I don’t know what they’re talking about when they say that. I’m puzzled.”

A second tweet found by the Twitter Files journalist confirmed that Fauci did indeed use Twitter for an account takeover. “Hear directly from our public health experts as they take to Twitter to answer questions about COVID-19 and the vaccines,” an April 2021 tweet read. “Dr. Fauci will take over this account…”

Thacker continued to expose Twitter’s effort to censor what they dubbed as “misinformation.”

“Twitter’s monthly update also documented work they did with Johnson and Johnson on ‘messaging strategy’ to help market the pharma company’s COVID-19 vaccine—action that happened only months after Twitter began removing and labeling tweets that they deemed vaccine ‘misinformation,’ the journalist reported. “By the summer of 2021, Johnson and Johnson began a full court press, marketing multiple pharma products on Twitter.”

The new findings come a day after former Director of National Intelligence John Ratcliffe testified under oath that Dr. Fauci likely covered up funding for gain-of-function research to avoid “unwanted attention.”

“Some of Dr. Fauci’s testimony is inconsistent with some of the intelligence that we have that remains classified as well as inconsistent with some information that is publicly available,” Ratcliffe told Rep. Nicole Malliotakis, R-N.Y., when asked on whether Fauci had lied on oath.
