(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In an update from the United States National Archives, nine boxes of classified documents were removed from President Joe Biden‘s Boston, Massachusetts office, Fox News reported.
Sens. Ron Johnson, R-Wis., and Chuck Grassley, R-Iowa, prompted the reply by submitting a letter to Acting Archivist of the United States Debra Steidel Wall requesting more information regarding the quantity and substance of the classified documents in question.
“We request that NARA provide full transparency regarding its involvement, knowledge and role with respect to the existence of these classified and unclassified documents,” they wrote, adding that such information is necessary for Congress to “perform an independent and objective review of NARA’s involvement in this matter.”
According to Wall, the Archives reached out to Biden’s lawyers last November, when it first learned about the illicitly removed documents.
“When NARA [National Archives and Records Administration] contacted President Biden’s personal counsel on November 3, 2022, to arrange to pick up boxes from the Penn Biden Center in Washington, D.C., they informed NARA that Mr. Moore had moved other boxes from the Penn Biden Center to Mr. Moore’s law firm in Boston,” the letter states.
“NARA staff retrieved nine boxes from Mr. Moore’s Boston office,” Wall continued, which, according to the Fox report, had not been previously known.

Unfortunately, however, the NARA has not even started looking through the classified documents.
“NARA has not reviewed the contents of the boxes found at Mr. Moore’s Boston office,” Wall noted.
So, while the Trump classified document investigation was rammed through as theatrically and sensationally as possible, NARA and the Department of Justice have dragged their feet on the Biden investigation, which has moved only insofar as Republicans in Congress press the matter.
