(Mark Pellin, Headline USA) U.S. House Democrats devolved into an unruly and vile mob of invective Wednesday, as a faction of GOP freedom rebels working to change the status quo D.C. swamp maintained their opposition to Rep. Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., for the speakership.
The House adjourned without leadership for the second consecutive night, after contentious debate through six ballots saw McCarthy stymied short of the 218 votes to secure the speaker’s gavel.
“Diversity of thought is a good thing,” said Rep. Kat Cammack, R-Fla., who put forth McCarthy’s name for speaker.
“But they want us divided,” she said of Democrats. “They want us to fight each other. That much has been made clear by the popcorn and blankets and alcohol that is coming in over there.”
“The House is not in order,” Cammack deadpanned from the House floor as Democrats hooted and caterwauled like drunk jackals aggrieved by any suggestion that they were a pack of drunk jackals.

The allegedly booze-fueled outburst prompted the House clerk to instruct that “all members-elect to abide by the established decorum of the House while making nominations,” as the Democrats’ raucous disruptive howling continued.
“As evidence by my colleagues actions,” she said again, referencing the jabbering Democrats and a House not in order.
Nobody ever accused Squadinista Rep. Cori Bush, D-Mo., of needing to be drunk to spew racist comments, so it’s not known if Bush was among the alleged drunkard Democrats when she insulted speaker nominee Rep. Byron Donalds, R-Fla., as a dupe and Uncle Tom Republican, who was being used as “a prop” and “supports a policy agenda intent on upholding and perpetuating white supremacy.”
“FWIW, @ByronDonalds is not a historic candidate for Speaker. He is a prop,” Bush tweeted. “Despite being Black, he supports a policy agenda intent on upholding and perpetuating white supremacy. “His name being in the mix is not progress—it’s pathetic.”
Donalds cut through Bush’s racist insult.
FWIW, nobody asked @CoriBush her opinion on the matter. Before you judge my agenda, let’s have a debate over the policies and the outcomes. Until then, don’t be a crab in a barrel! https://t.co/QF2OubL4mO

Donalds netted 20 votes for speaker, after dropping his support for McCarthy when he was nominated by GOP Reps. Chip Roy of Texas and Lauren Boebert of Colorado. McCarthy saw his vote total slip to 201 on Wednesday’s final ballot.
“For the first time in history, there have been two black Americans placed into the nomination for speaker of the House,” Roy said, referencing New York Democrat Rep. Hakeem Jeffries who also was nominated for speaker by his party.
“It’s a job that I would do reluctantly,” Donalds told CBS News. “The job I really want to do is make sure we govern on behalf of the American people.”
Bush bashed that reasoned reply of leadership as sign that Donalds was a closet white supremacist who was being used by the GOP as a token black with no merits of his own worth.
Bush, who has a long and sordid history of racist comments and supporting extremist BLM activists, was roundly condemned for her comments.
“Wow, how dare @ByronDonalds think for himself and step off the Democrat plantation. This Tweet is a total embarrassment for you @CoriBush,” admonished David Giglio, vice president of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of Madera County.
“Sorry Cori, but accusing a black man of being a ‘prop’ for white supremacy is frankly racist itself,” cracked the Daily Caller.
Rep Byron Donalds is the right choice for Speaker of the House. How do I know? Cori Bush and the MSM screamed at the sky.#RepByronDonalds #Speakerofthehouse #McCarthy

“Byron Donalds is a class act as well as intelligent and committed to American values,” wrote political commentator Bo Snerdley. “As for Cori Bush?”
James Lindsay had the answer.
“Cori Bush is a Race Marxist,” he tweeted.
