FBI’s No. 1 Russia-Hoaxer, Peter Strzok, Offers Oddball Theory about George Santos

'Democratic Party discourse is McCarthyism in its purest form...'

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) In a lengthy Twitter thread, Russia-hoax architect and disgraced FBI agent Peter Strzok theorized that Republican congressman-elect George Santos was a Putin plant.

“While everyone’s looking at George Devolder–Santos, it’s worth looking at him—especially his wealth and fundraising questions—from a counterintelligence perspective,” Strzok wrote, before adding that Santos may have had a vague connection to a Russian oligarch.

“From the ‘many times during [his] career’ he claims to have visited Moscow, to the over $56,000 he received from Andrew Intrater, a cousin and money manager for sanctioned Russian oligarch Viktor Vekselberg” he added.

Strzok also dug up some of the Republican candidate’s past statements concerning the Russia–Ukraine conflict, wherein Santos simply noted that Ukraine is a “totalitarian regime” and therefore is “not a great bastion of freedom.”

The accusations follow reports that Santos made a number of dishonest statments on the campaign trail about his background.

They were subsequently exposed by left-wing outlets like the New York Times after Santos made GOP history as an LGBT candidate and succeeded in flipping a traditionally blue district of New York.

Amid calls on the Left for Santos to resign, many Republicans have stood behind him, pointing out the troublesome truthiness that Democrat candidates have demonstrated, up to and including President Joe Biden.

Others, like newly-red-pilled independent Tulsi Gabbard, who left the Democrats because of their moral turpitude, were particularly brutal in criticizing his lack of “integrity.”

“Do you have no shame?” Gabbard asked him while guest-hosting for Fox News’s Tucker Carlson.

Regardless, of their opinions about the new congressman, all could agree that Strzok was hardly the right messenger to lead the criticism of Santos.

“[O]f course here we have a former FBI agent who got fired from the agency insinuating he’s a Kremlin spy because he’s traveled to Moscow,” wrote red-pilled pundit Glenn Greenwald. “Democratic Party discourse is McCarthyism in its purest form.”

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., also laughed at the fact that Strzok could not help himself.

“Oh look one of the chief liars formerly from the liars division at the FBI is attacking George Santos and trying to convince everyone George is involved in Russian collusion,” she tweeted. “Peter can’t you use your elite minded education and come up with a new lie? Russia lies are so 2016.”
