(Molly Bruns, Headline USA) Republicans in blue states are embracing Democrat schemes of legalized mail-in voting, ballot harvesting and ballot curing, which have produced some impressive wins in unlikely places
Deep-blue states, specifically California and New York, managed to flip a few counties red in the midterms by taking advantage of the now-legalized processes.
The House of Representatives is GOP-controlled thanks to how we performed in states with the most liberal ballot harvesting and vote by mail laws — New York, Oregon, California. We can master this system. Democrats are praying that we refuse to try.

California Republicans have been taking advantage of their 2016 law for several years, which resulted in legal action being taken against them after the 2020 election, the Post Millennial reported.
Then-Attorney General Xavier Becerra sent an official referendum, claiming that only county officials had the power to set up drop boxes—which is untrue, according to the state’s law.
They also demanded the Republicans decommission their drop boxes that were set up in churches, the GOP party headquarters, gun stores and other conservative hangouts.
“We didn’t write the rules. The Democrats wrote the rules,” said then-GOP spokesperson Hector Barajas.
“They set up the chessboard. We are just playing with the chessboard that they put in front of us. And now they’re upset about it.”
Fast forward to 2022, and the GOP in both California and New York managed to flip seats that have been held by Democrats for decades.
Some have credited the ousting of Rep. Nancy Pelosi, D-Cali, from her seat of House Speaker to these wins.
Thank you for saying this Charlie! We work for every vote in a winnable race, often outperforming registration and top of ticket for our winners. Without aggressive curing and harvesting in the right CA communities, we wouldn’t have the House today. https://t.co/MOBzyCNkuI

After the recent midterm elections there are several states moving towards radically Left-leaning election laws, such as Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Michigan’s recently passed Proposal 2 enshrined legal, third-party ballot harvesting, illegal voter ID, voting rights for convicts and the denial of private institutions the ability to audit elections in the state’s constitution, making it nigh impossible to reverse.
According to American Greatness, the newly implemented laws have made “election theft so easy… that it hardly counts as a crime.”
There is not much to be done in deep-blue states to prevent the now-legal, yet dishonest, elections, unless the Feds have a sudden desire to overturn Michigan’s constitution in favor of fair, free and bipartisan processes.
Michigan, much like California and New York, will likely have to beat the Democrats at their own game in order to make progress within their state.
