Biden Misidentifies CDC Director, Fueling Concerns of Bike-Accident Head Injury

'Joe Biden has continually proven to me and to the world that something isn’t right... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) After falling off his bike last weekend at Cape Henlopen State Park near his beach home in Delaware, President Joe Biden has made even more gaffes than usual, prompting questions about his health after his head may have struck the ground, the Western Journal reported.

The president appeared to have broken his fall with his shoulder, or possibly his head, prompting questions about his already shrinking mental capacity.

Several days after the tumble, Biden visited a vaccination clinic in Washington, D.C. to celebrate vaccines for young children.

While speaking to a group of parents and children about the new jab for five-and-under children, Biden confused Dr. Ashish Jha, his administration’s COVID response coordinator, for his Centers for Disease Control director.

“”You see Dr. Jha, see that guy right there?” Biden said. “He’s the guy that’s running the CDC for me these days, basically.”

Biden’s real Centers for Disease Control and Prevention director is Rochelle Walensky. His slip suggests that he either does not know who his CDC director is, or Dr. Jha is really calling the shots for the CDC.

The 79-year-old and his administration attempted to blame his shoes for the fall, claiming that they got stuck to the pedals of his bike, but insisting that he is fine.

“As the President said, his foot got caught on the pedal while dismounting and he is fine,” an administration official said. “No medical attention is needed. The President looks forward to spending the rest of the day with his family.”

The post-tumble gaffes, however, aren’t the first time Biden’s mental decline has triggered questions and concerns. Earlier this year, GOP lawmakers implored Biden to take a cognitive exam after several troubling public appearances.

“Joe Biden has continually proven to me and to the world that something isn’t right,” Rep. Ronny Jackson, R-Texas, said at the time.

“The American people deserve to have absolute confidence in their president’s cognitive ability.”
