(Dmytro “Henry” Aleksandrov, Headline USA) One of the elitist Left’s main media organs, The New Yorker, published a hit piece on Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis where they accidentally praised him.
In his latest New Yorker article that was published on June 20, Dexter Filkins tried his best to criticize DeSantis, according to National Review. However, he failed by highlighting all of the popular Florida governor’s good qualities.
“The New Yorker set out to do a hit piece on Florida governor Ron DeSantis,” National Review reported. “But what we learn from the profile is that DeSantis is smart, serious, hard-working, focused, honest and… incorruptible.”
DeSantis ignores the media and does the best for the people in Florida, according to the Left’s media branch.
“He ignores media “noise” and does what he thinks is best for Florida based on analysis of data and science.”
The author also covered DeSantis’s determination when it came to getting his undergraduate and law degrees from pricey Ivy League schools, as well as lauding the service to his country.
“He grew up in a working-class neighborhood, then attended Yale, where he worked several jobs to pay tuition, and Harvard Law School,” the Review wrote. “He served in the military in Iraq.”
Leftists are afraid of DeSantis because he is effective and “[like] Trump with a brain,” according to National Review.
“The main thing the New Yorker hates about DeSantis is his effectiveness and hence the implicit threat he poses to Democrats: Like Trump with a brain.”
DeSantis’s biggest strength is that he doesn’t care what other people think.
“Ron’s strength as a politician is that he doesn’t give a f**k. . . . Ron’s weakness as a politician is that he doesn’t give a f**k. Big donors? He doesn’t give a s**t. Cancels on them all the time.”
Another mistake that Filkins made was to include the words of the DeSantis’s father who — what a shocker — is proud of his son.
“He was stubborn. If he set his mind to something, you couldn’t shake him. He was focused and motivated. He didn’t get that from me.”
Filkins also pointed out the intelligence of the Gov.
“He’s so f***ing smart and… creative. You couldn’t even plagiarize… his work. He’d take some angle, and everyone knew there was only one person who could have done that.”
As the last nail in his supposed hit piece’s coffin, Filkins said that DeSantis is a hardworking and smart politician.
“DeSantis has an intense work ethic, a formidable intelligence and a granular understanding of policy.”
