(Chris Parker, Headline USA) Police brandishing “World Economic Forum” insignias detained a conservative journalist and his crew for interrogations without cause, highlighting another example of globalists trying to keep their plots and plans from public view.
Jack Posobiec, editor and owner of the Human Events conservative blog, was in Switzerland covering the WEF’s annual meeting, reported Just the News. They were initially questioned by an officer, who asked for their IDs and press passes. The officer left soon after telling Posobiec and his team that everything was in order.
However, a Twitter video posted by Posobiec shows several other heavily-armed officers confront the team. The video shows officers telling the crew that filming was not allowed, despite being on a public street. The officers are then seen checking their IDs once again, along with the contents of their phone.
When Posobiec asked an officer why they had to stop filming, he refused to cite a specific law. The WEF insignia is clearly visible on their uniforms. Posobiec said he and his crew were actually taking a break and had not been recording at the time, which the footage (starting after the officers’ arrival) seems to confirm.
Posobiec said they were taken into custody after he complied with the officer’s request. They were never given a reason for their detainment. However, they were frisked and questioned individually. They also demanded footage from the equipment.
“Never once did they actually explain to us why it was we were targeted,” he said in an interview posted to social media.
“I want to be clear on something: We had already given our names, our passports, and our press pass to the police, to the officials, about an hour prior to this happening, and the same lead officer came back with this new group,” Posobiec said.
The detainment confirms claims by critics that the WEF has tried diligently to label as conspiracy theorists.
Posobiec accused the WEF of promoting an agenda that will erode “our health freedom and the idea of us having bodily autonomy.”
His comments came as WEF attendees described ongoing efforts to create a hyper-globalized world in which privacy and civil liberties could be curtailed.
Some of the speeches by attendees seemed to confirm these concerns. As one example, J. Michael Evans, president of online wholesaler Alibaba, openly boasted about the development of an “individual carbon footprint tracker” to monitor what you buy, what you eat, and where/how you travel.
WEF conspirators have also pushed plans for a global digital ID system to be implanted inside of the body.
Tech leader Elizabeth Renieris warned that, “If you can’t obtain a digital identity in those countries, you are effectively locked out of life. There is basically nothing you can do, and you don’t exist.”
