Delaware County Includes Tranny Story in K-3 Curriculum

'We break down some of those stereotypes about what it means to be a boy or a girl, and opening children’s minds... '

(Jacob Bruns, Headline USA) A Delaware school district has decided to include the book “Jacob’s New Dress,” a story about a young boy who wishes to become a transgender, in its K-3 curriculum.

The move was justified on the grounds that it supports the Social Emotional Learning program that the district has initiated, which is intended to make children more open to pursuing a variety of sexual identities, the National File reported.

According to the book’s summary of the story, Jacob, the aspiring transgender, attempts to decide how to persuade his parents to allow him to crossdress.

“Jacob loves playing dress-up, when he can be anything he wants to be. Some kids at school say he can’t wear ‘girl’ clothes, but Jacob wants to wear a dress to school,” the author wrote.

“Can he convince his parents to let him wear what he wants?”

One parent emailed the school district, suggesting that, although she can tolerate crossdressing, she does not want her own children indoctrinated at such a young age.

“I made it very clear to [my child] that we treat everyone equally, and that if a boy wants to wear a dress, that we are not to make fun of anybody,” she wrote.

“Others may disagree with that which is fine, however I would ask that these topics not be covered with my child in the future.”

The radical leftist program was introduced at the school in 2019 by the co-chair of the district’s program, Catherine Mallam, who has since moved on to other work.

At the time, she suggested that children need to learn from a young age how to break down gender stereotypes, becoming more open to experimentation.

“We break down some of those stereotypes about what it means to be a boy or a girl, and opening children’s minds,” she said in reference to Jacob’s New Dress.
