(Tony Sifert, Headline USA) After being suspended by Twitter for “hateful conduct” toward United States Assistant Secretary for Health Dr. Richard “Rachel” Levine, Tucker Carlson has aptly concluded that censorship is the Left’s official way of defining terms.
“Our national conversation about transgenderism is completely defined by censorship, by making you shut up, not allowing you to notice the obvious is why they’re doing it,” Carlson said on his show Wednesday.
“Their first move always is censorship and their second move, inevitably, is punishment,” Carlson continued. “We learned that again last night when we were suspended from Twitter.”
Carlson was suspended for retweeting screenshots of already-censored tweets posted by Charlie Kirk and the Babylon Bee, both of which had to do with the transgender “female” Dr. “Rachel” Levine, the Pennsylvania health apparatchik who was elevated to prominence for his particularly grotesque propaganda efforts on behalf of the biomedical security state.
Dr. Levine made history left and right during the COVID-19 pandemic, rising all the way — in the New York Times’ hagiographic telling — from “the first openly transgender federal official confirmed by the Senate” to “the first female four-star admiral in the history of the corps.”
Meteoric!
Charlie Kirk’s tweet pointed out the irony of the fact that USA Today had named as one of its “Women of the Year” someone who “spent 54 years of his life as a man.”
“Where are the feminists?” Kirk asked.
Banned. (Kirk’s account has since been restored after he complied and deleted his offending tweet.)
The Babylon Bee was suspended simply for satirizing USA Today and naming Levine its “Man of the Year.”
“Since announcing this award, we’ve been told that Levine actually identifies as a woman,” the Bee wrote, apologetically. “We have still chosen to give the award as his self-identification has no bearing on the truth.”
Unlike Kirk, Babylon Bee CEO Seth Dillon refused to comply with Twitter’s demands.
We’re not deleting anything. Truth is not hate speech. If the cost of telling the truth is the loss of our Twitter account, then so be it.

“Never censor yourself,” Dillon said in a separate tweet. “Insist that 2 and 2 make 4 even if Twitter tries to compel you to say otherwise.”
Carlson drew his viewers attention to the anti-American machinations of Twitter’s new CEO, Parag Agrawal, and his coterie of woke transnational plutocratic billionaires.
“Not so long ago, this was a free country,” Carlson said.
“Now Parag Agrawal and nine other billionaires, whose names you might not even know, who certainly were not elected to anything, get to determine the limits of your conversations.”
“Are we okay with this?” he asked.
