Canada’s Trucker ‘Freedom Convoy’ on Verge of Breaking World Record

(Gregg Pupecki, Headline USA) Over 50,000 freedom loving independent truck drivers are reportedly on their way to Canada’s capital.

The ‘Freedom Convoy 2022’ is demanding that vaccine mandates and medical surveillance come to an end.

Their goal is to encourage the government of Canada to repeal its cross-border digital COVID tracking passport and all COVID-19 vaccine mandates.

The protest has been gaining momentum as the convoy makes its way from Vancouver to Ottawa.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau called the group a “small fringe minority” with “unacceptable views” and coincidentally he will not be in town to witness the protest.

Trudeau announced Thursday that he is self quarantining for five days because he might have been exposed to COVID-19.

While Trudeau is home staring at himself in the mirror,  the convoy keeps picking up more support.

Fox News reported that the convoy may break a world record. The current record held in the Guinness Book Of World Records is a convoy consisting of 480 trucks and stretching 7.5 km (4.7 miles). The parade of trucks in this convoy could be 10 times larger.

Benjamin Dichter, spokesman for the Freedom Convoy 2022, told the Toronto Sun, “It’s 70 km long,” and he says  “I have seen footage from an airplane. It’s impressive.”

Several truckers from the United States are reportedly joining the cause along the border, and Tesla CEO Elon Musk was among those sending encouragement to the Canadian truckers on Twitter.

The convoy is scheduled to arrive in Ottawa on Saturday. Their plan is to stay in the city until Canada is liberated.

The Canadian Freedom Convoy has already inspired the truckers of Australia to organize a similar protest and liberty loving Americans will be watching.
